Dr. Mohd Sani bin Badron

He was awarded with the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) (1993). His M.A. and Ph.D in Islamic Thought were from the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC), in 1998 and 2006 respectively. He joined ISTAC as Research Fellow (1993-2003), and then IIUM as Lecturer at the Department of Theology, Philosophy and Comparative Religions, Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowlege and Human Sciences (IRKHS) (2003-2006). He is now serving the Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (IKIM) as Senior Fellow (since 2006), and entrusted as the Director, Centre for the Economic and Social Studies. He was promoted to Principal Fellow since 2014.
